An Eco-Friendly Micro Wedding

"Dan's three-piece suit is made by Scott and was purchased from. Custom-made cufflinks provided to Dan by Lucy, which featured the crest of Dan's old cricket club in Tunbridge Wells, Kent."

The bride's father accompanied her into the ceremony, at a Covid secure distance, and also the couple's ceremony was led by Sally Womersley, the Vicar at Romsey Abbey.

"Even the gown fitting appointments were different, Lucy and also the dressmaker needed to wear masks, and Lucy needed to call her Mum on FaceTime rather than her being there personally. A lot more ended virtually."

"One of the best parts was that the Abbey could live stream the service, so although the vast majority of our guests weren't in a position to attend personally, they were in a position to watch the stream online live or even the recording afterward, that was lovely."

Lucy's bridesmaids wore sage bridesmaid dresses from FeelTimes. Lucy's dress was created by Leesa Miller.

"I had a concept of what type of dress I wanted, but I couldn't find any ready-designed dresses that matched that style! So I went bespoke! I knew I wanted long sleeves along with a boat neck – I wanted it to feel 100% me which was a great way to do that. I loved the small details to the gown too such as the bow around the back and also the pockets."

"Our reception was within the gardens of in Romsey and these were fabulous!! Mark Udall who's the manager there cared for everything making sure that people didn't need to worry about anything on their day. He is fantastic using the Covid security from the venue and that he went far above for us."

"He comes up with the most beautiful and delicious afternoon tea in hampers for every table. He made it feel so relaxed and enjoyable and thus much effort went into which makes it so. We also chose to possess a no alcohol wedding – We don't drink and we didn’t feel it might add anything! It didn't take anything away from your day at all."
